Calcutta High Court LDA Exam Pattern 2024
At the beginning phase, Calcutta High Court conduct the preliminary test for LDA Recruitment. Candidates who are going to appear for the Calcutta High Court LDA Exam 2024 must be familiar with the latest exam pattern scheme which is given below.
- The selection process is categorized in three mode of selection. First Phase is Preliminary Test, second phase is Competitive Written Test (Mains Exam) and Viva Voce is third phase.
- Preliminary Screening Test: The Prelims Test will be conducted OMR-based.
- This test consists of 100 questions and each question carry one mark. This test includes the questions from the following subjects: Arithmetic, General Knowledge, Computer Proficiency, General Intelligence, and English.
- Candidates who will qualify in the Preliminary Test will be able to appear for a Competitive Written Test.
- In the second phase is written test based and conduct for 300 marks. It includes three subjects: Arithmetic, English essay and precis writing, and General Knowledge.
- This test conduct for 3 hours with single sitting and each section carrying 100 marks.
- The final selection be based on the Viva-Voce Test, which carrying 100 marks.

- Name of Exam: Preliminary Screening Test
- Exam Duration: 90 Minutes
- Negative Marking: Yes, one mark is to be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Total 100 Marks (one mark for each question).
- Language of Exam: English only.
- Passing Marks: Minimum of 50% are required to appear for next phase. Remember one thing, marks of this test will not be carried forward.

Calcutta High Court LDA Syllabus 2024 for Competitive Written Test (Phase II)
Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Screening Test (OMR based) will be able to appear for Competitive Written Test (Phase II).
In the Calcutta HC LDA Competitive Written Test questions will be asked from the following subjects:
- Arithmetic
- English essay and precis writing.
- General Knowledge.
Each subject shall carry 100 marks, aggregating to 300 marks. The Competitive Written Test Duration is 3 hours in single seating.
Cut off Marks: Candidates securing minimum 40% of the marks in each of the three subjects and 50% in the aggregate to clear the Competitive Written Test (Phase-II).
